Hello, this is David, and I just came to display my love on Aline’s tumblr. We’ve been friends since we were what, sixteen years old? Our friendship started because she was trying to take care of her other (mutual) friend, but somehow, that friend has pretty much been cut out, so it’s just the two of us. And that’s how I like it. We don’t need those in-betweens.
Her family loves me. My family loves her. Her family accepts me. My family swears. But, that’s not important. She’s sleeping on the other side of my room right now, and this is totally fluid, like a stream of consciousness, and it probably won’t make sense by the time I reach the end. ANYHWAY.
Tonight was the first time I showed Aline a hobby I’ve had all of my life. I almost can’t believe I waited this many years. But, she really seemed to enjoy it, and I like that. And I also started to tell her about my feelings for one of the most important people in my life (emotionally). And, (I hope) she supports that too.
Aline is an amazing person. And, our friendship is unlike any other I’ve ever had. Although we’ve been friends for years, we haven’t reached the point that I would love us to be at. But, I think that we can go even further than that. I’m looking forward to years of our friendship evolving.
Alena Renee, I love you so much. You’re one of the most important people in my life, and I never want you to forget that or feel like you’re worthless in any way. I know that whenever I need you, you’ll be there (unless you’re at work), and I hope you realize (by now) that you can expect the same from me.
You are the reason I believe in forever.
